![]() There is a great need for transitioning Service members and their families to remain in Missouri at the end of their military service. In addition to adding greatly to the strength of our communities and state, we have critical jobs--especially in the defense and national security industry--that are going unfilled. If we could do a better job of retaining those to leave the military each year in Missouri, and attracting those who separate elsewhere who have a Missouri home of record, we could add to the economic development of our state, and provide new opportunities for all Missourians. Related to this, what are the Strengths and Weaknesses of current efforts, Opportunities for improvement, and Threats that may keep us from realizing this outcome?
